For their ARC 780 Software all it did was put a file called WINSOC7.DLA in
your windows system directory if you delete that then the reset command will
not be sent to your radio and the software will be fully functional. If you
use the reg. info above and the software dont run you have WINSOC7.DLA on
your computer delete this file and it will work. just remember dont hook
your radio up untill you delete WINSOC7.DLA or it will reset your radio
