Because something needs to be done about these obnoxious, smelly,
fat, out of shape & horrifically boring scanner listeners. They are
the ruination of good, decent communications enthusiasts with their
constant "can you top what I heard" attitude & downright illegal
actions. Plus, they are taking up more than their fair share of blue
jean material with their massive 48-60 " waistlines and 28 " strides.

It's time someone put their foot down and that foot is me!
