I was wondering what past experiences anyone has had with bringing
scanners aboard Holland America Lines cruise ships

I took an Alaska Cruise with Holland America after 9/11/ I had no problems
using getting a briefcase full of gear on board, using scanner, etc. Since it
was an Alaska cruise most of traffic was Marine band and city stuff while in
port.
