Hell, here in Pittsburgh, we have the world's largest shooting range. It
encompasses the entire city. Just the other night, my wife heard a series
of shots and urged me to turn on the scanner to see if I could hear what
happened. Lo and Behold it was a drive-by shooting, with the officers
scrambling to handle the situation. I don't know if both parties
survived, one was critical. They were shot with a .45 Cal ACP

Midnight on New Years morning brought the usual commencement of semi-
automatic rifle and handgun discharge. One officer commented that it
"sounded like Beirut" in the neighborhood he was patrolling. We live
within 1 air mile of a housing project. I got quite a kick when some
concerned citizen called to report, are you ready for this, "gun shots"
(ta da).



WOW! I started hearing all kinds of gun shots on 460.400MHz, Macomb
County Sheriff, Michigan. Turns out, some guy had an open mic at the
shooting range!!!
