Nextel is causing interference to 800 MHz Public Safety Radio systems,
there are two competing plans to solve the interference problem.
This is a simple solution to this:
1) FCC ENFORCES the REGULATIONS on the books now and FINES Nexhell $2
BILLION/day/violation/site for their flagrant violation of FCC rules. They are
all gung ho to hand out fines for broadcast violations all of a sudden. So lets
enforce the rules here too gang.
2) RELOCATION of nexhell to 1900mhz with a guard band for their slop to fall
into between the present allocations for PCS here. You have 30 days. Too quick,
oh well. Turn off the sites at 800MHz its been 30 days and 1 nanosecond. No I
don't care to be realistic about this change over. Don't even ask. I am tired of
dealing with their crap and hearing the damn chirping.
The above:
1) SOLVES THE PROBLEM
2) Puts the cost SQUARELY on the company causing the problem, nexhell. They have
to replace their entire network and handsets. ZERO COST to public safety.
Problem solved.
Those who cause interference are RESPONSIBLE to CORRECT the problem. Going to
cost nexhell money, oh well. Its not public safety or private industry licensees
that caused this problem, its nexhell.
Why none of this will ever happen.
Guess who the BIGGEST GOVERMENT user of nexhell is?
