The PCR1000 go for around 200-250 on e-bay while the Pro-2006 with a Opto
board (not to mention the other mods he wanted) are going for 250-350 on e-bay.
How could he get two?

No offence, but you need your head looking at for that, the 2006 aren't
even in the same league as the Icom.
Ebay the Icom and buy 2 2006's or a real radio like an AOR.
