8.33kHz has begun to be employed in Europe. It is used for the high level
on route broadcasts. No time frame has been given for its use outside of
Europe.

As to the 780, there is no way to change its steps. You can tune it using
10kHz steps, so you will only be a little bit off frequency.

Hi,

Sorry, my goof.
Meant 8.33.

Same questins, though.

Any info on it would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob

1.8kHz would be far too close to be usable.

8.33kHz is the smallest spacing that has been approved for voice comms

in
the airband.

Hello:

What's with this 1.8 KHz channel spacing for commercial Aero I've

heard
about ?

True ?
Implemented yet ?

Exactly who will be using ?

Any way to implement on a 780 ?

Thanks,
B.
