Thanks, I will have a look around for that one. Do you know exactly which
frequencies it covers?

Thanks!

There is a pawn shop locally that has a PRO-2035 by Radio Shack.

would
you suggest buying one? What is an average used price?

Can you suggest any other radios that have the most frequencies for the
cheapest price? Looking for a home unit base. No handheld, but maybe
mobile.

The 2035 is a very mediocre performer, and was quickly replaced by the
2042. There are so many better radios. IMO the best bargain in used
scanners is the BC895XLT. You can pick one up used for around
$100-$125. It is an excellent performer, has basic trunktracking, and
excellent frequency coverage. If you decide you want the 2035, don't
pay more than $100 for it.... Also, the older 2004 and 2006 have
better filters and blow the 2035 away in terms of performance.
