Because 1/2 of my commute is on Bear Creek Rd and I need to keep my
hands on the wheel and eyes on the road.

My QTH is in a serious radio hole, we don't even get broadcast TV.

I can just barely get out of the SLV with 40W on 2 meters.

Greetings all,

I did the appropriate google searches of [alt|rec].radio.scanner

and found the following:

450.0625 - Metro Traffic Control
450.0875 - KCBS (740)
450.0975 - kcbs 740 news
450.2125 - KGO (810)/KSFO (560)
450.2375 - knbr 680 traffic
450.4625 - Metro Traffic Control
450.5375 - Metro Traffic Control
450.5625 - Metro Traffic Control
455.0625 - Metro Traffic Control
467.6750 - Metro Traffic Control

But most are 5 to 12 years old.

Anybody out there that can confirm that those freqs are or are not in
use? Especially in the south bay?
