Bruce,

Can you give me and idea what a used one would sell for. I am find
these to be different than what I sell my other hobby related toys
for. I sell my telescopes for 80-85% of what I paid for new. Guess
that doesn't work with scanners for whatever reason. Perhaps a better
price is in the $419-425 range. Does this seem reasonable, or do
radio hobbyists basically give their used, well in the case of my
scanner, hardly used equipment away?

I think I will offer it up at $420 OBO and see where that lands.

Thanks,
Doug

the radio is available on line for around $500
Antennas are nice, but $50 off for a used radio just won't cut it. New with
warranty is mucho better.

I am selling my BC296D. It is only 5 months old and has hardly been
used at all, which is why I am selling it, so it is in like new
condition. I am including everything that came with it, original box,
docs, warranty card, accessories, plus I have some Radio Shack
antennas to go along with it as well, the 800MHz (20-283), wide band
moble mag mount (20-032), and the deluxe rubber duck replacement
(20-034). New everything would cost $575, I am asking $450, you save
$125. Satisfaction is guarranteed. If you have been interested in
getting on of these fine scanners, this is a chance to get one and
save a few bucks and pick up a couple of extra antennas.

Thanks,
Doug
