I program the different talkgroups into different banks
(Same freqs in each bank in closed mode)

I want to listen to Police, turn on bank 1
Fire bank 2
EMS 3
Public works 4
etc...

WORKS VERY WELL

Ok 2 more questions: There's banks (100 channels per) then there's TG
banks of 20 talkgroups. I can't seem to see a way to scan only that 1
talkgroup bank - is this what you're referring to? or actual banks?

Now here's the interesting questions - the 95 will do control channel
only mode which is great. Can I put multiple control channels in the
same bank? Now I realize since there's only one list of talkgroups for
the radio, if say on system 1 talkgroup 12345 is the Police which I
want to listen to but on system 2, talkgroup 12345 is the dog catcher
which I could care less about, it would stop on that talkgroup. But
would this work?

I'm guessing it wouldn't as based on an experiment I just did, if
there's traffic at all on the control channel, even if it doesn't
match any ID"s in the list, the scanner listens. I put a WX channel in
the same bank, and it took a while before it picked it up.
