Assuming you have good batteries, because it sounds like a power problem,
return it, it is defective.

I have a new PRO-95. If I am in Search or Scan mode and switch to Manual

pressing the 'Manual' key. The unit will switch to manual but then in

5 seconds it will shut it's self off. This only happens if the squelch is
set above the noise threshold. If the squelch is open it will stay on.

Anyone have any ideas? My quess is some setting but do not know what to
reset.
