Not a lot of traffic today, but probably more than I heard with my limited
antenna array. Slowly getting my antennas back up, now that the Hurricane
Season has passed.
Interesting propagation in the evening; ATC ground stations heard from
afar on Mil UHF freqs. David will explain the relevant phenomena.

OMAHA 55K: CE-550 (N1255K) #550-0505, BICE
2:04am: Comms with Hammer: "We are 10-8, RTB to Ramrod." This was when he was
airborne after forcing down a target acft at Vero Beach. I heard his
surveillance of the target from Ft Myers on Florida's west coast (beginning at
10:55pm Tues), and then across the state. By the time he forced the tgt to land
he was in need of fueling himself. Pilot reconfirms freq as "Blue 1."

NOTE: The astronaut that often flies NASA 909 pronounces the callsign

monitors log the acft as NASA 99.
