Impressive Dale, very impressive. I was considering a 4-foot loop to replace
my 3-foot (also hunting for NDBs) but I backed off because I thought it was
too much of a challenge. Now after seeing your 7-foot loop, I'm getting my
courage back to try again. Nice job.

Hi Al,
I would try the 4' loop. My 1 meter loop was very impressive- I have never heard
MW as well- and as quiet. All the local power line noise, TV switching supply
garbage etc disappeared. I did direct comparisons with my active whip- the loop
won 100% of the time. The only reason I grew it was for the 136 and 185 KHz
experimental beacons.
I have a nice machine shop and great junk box- but total cost was only a couple
of bucks for the oddball toroids I did not have in stock.
