If CHu is down, that could spell a great opportunity for Dxers to
catch Ondas del Huallega on 3330 kHz without having to flip the
reciever into LSB to cover it from aside from the CHU signal.

FWIW, CHU is off the air. May be a DX opportunity for 7335 and 3330khz.

According to a ham radio source in Canada, The 2003 NorthEastern
Regional blackout power surge thru the CA grid which apparently damaged
equipment
at their Ottawa facility. Apparently just before
the power fully cut out, there was a massive surge
which damaged sensitive equipment(s). There was not
a way to confirm the damage untill after power was
restored.
