USA doesn't have "domestic" SW broadcasting. All of these guys have
submitted applications indicating specific ITU target zones and "just so
happen" to be heard in the US.

True, however the only people who made money were the
FCC when they took their fee for a licence application.
Most of these shortwave "patriots" and religious nutcakes
don't have a pot to **** in or a window to throw it out
of, or if they do, they try to get by with paying the bare
minimum, late payments or "charity", while the funds are
kept in the bank for a select-few, while they shear the flock
for every dime they can get out of them. Bro. Stair is a prime
example of this principle in action.
