I was on the island of Kaua'i for a week in May with some friends, and on
one of our day trips we drove right by WWVH. We tried to drive in to take

a
look at the facility, but it was guarded by very threatening-looking
military people (it's adjacent to the Barking Sands Missile Test facility

on
the southwest shore).

A few years ago, I stopped by WWVH unannounced and got a tour.
The guards at the front just check your ID and maybe have you
sign something before letting you enter the base. This has probably
changed since the Saudi attacks on Sept 11, dunno.

The WWVH crew was eager to have visitors. My wife was bored silly
but I had fun. Got a great picture of me pressing some buttons on one
of the spare clock units. Better than Disney World.

At the tone .... :-)
