Ya know, If I hadn't seen this thread, I would have simply deleteted

I *love* my ancient outdated email client that doesn't understand HTML
and isn't able to open attachments, automatically or otherwise, simply
displaying their raw ASCII content in the message body. g

I second that motion!

I read e-mail with a 1995 version of Eudora Lite.
I use Agent for usenet only.
I never install any of the Outlook bull****.

The only good thing about M$ dominance is that it provides a huge
number of victims for the virus writers and crackerz. They focus on
the latest useless M$ all-in-one swinging door and leave the rest of
us alone.

I'm another ancient Eudora user. No not me, the email program. :-) It
doesn't have a clue what to do with an attachment other than putting it
in the designated attachment directory, awaiting further inspection by
me. I just delete them unless I'm expecting a specific attachment from
someone I know. I've been on the Net for about 8-years without any virus
protection software and have never had a virus or worm installed on my
system.
