World domination? Well Gregg, it's sort of like my stance on gun control.
If there's a gun around, I'd like to be the one that controls it ;^)
The United States hasn't made an policy of world domination. It simply
happened because our system of government allowed us an unparallelled way of
life, envied by many, but achievable by few others, because few others can
change course without a total meltdown. There was no "agenda."
Of course, folks like you would love to change all that and follow a system
that simply collapsed in eastern Europe, and will eventually fall in France,
Germany, and similar states. They simply can't match our productivity.
Instead, learn something from history. Meet some former Soviets. You'll
learn first-hand that the socialist model simply does not work. That's why
they are trying as hard as they can to build a democracy.
It will take them some time. A couple of years ago, I volunteered to show
some Russian and Ukrainian construction company executives some large
projects my company was involved with. They asked questions like "If a
person gets tired of working, can they just quit?"
It's going to take a learning curve starting at a very basic level for them.
But they know first-hand, the struggle will be worth it.
The thought of everything in America (hospitals, schools, supermarkets,
etc.) running with the same unbridled efficiency of your local Department of
Motor Vehicles car tag office should be enough to turn the lights on in even
your thick head.

Behold, Stinger signalled from keyed 4-1000A filament:
"Culturally inept?"
You guys made socialism, facism, and nazisim an art form.
We'll stay "backward" thank you very much.

We on the "left-coast" may have made socialism an art form and in the
east, fascism, but naziism belongs to your domain with mit fuher Bush and
his world domination and kill-anyone-woman-or-child-who-gets-in-the-way
policy.
