Can't We All Just Get Along?
It's been a rough week in the Shortwave world, it's not only the Planet
X class flares.
Clay Douglas used his Thursday show to bash the Genesis Communication
Network. Especially John Stadtmiller. Tales of cheating, lying,
gambling, sleeping till noon. But Clay didn't stop there. He attacked
Ted Anderson, Alex Jones and even Joyce Riley!!
Jackie Patru echoed Clay and piled on GCN during her show.
Jeffery Bennett bashed GCN, especially (you guessed it) Ted Anderson.
Ted may have shot first on this one, as he spent the previous day's show
ezpounding on how crummy foreign gold is, and the gold he sells is far
more immune from Jack-Booted Federal Confisication.
I find this Battle of the Shortwave Gold Bugs most distrubing. We must
look on both of these guys for the altrusits they are. I mean each of
them would sell the very gold out of there teeth in exchange for our
soon-to-be-worthless fiat currency. And they perform this essential
service without regard to their own personal comfort or safety. They
tell us that the economy has been on the ragged edge of total collapse
since the founding of the Federal Reserve System, and it's much worse
now. After the economy goes flatter than a pancake, we'll be glad we
can still trade our gold bars for Hershey bars -- but will we give a
moment's thought to the now goldless gold bugs, freezing in the dark,
with nothing but mountains and mountains of cash?
To think these vicious Shortwave Wars may have been triggered by the
monumental battle between the University for Peace and Radio for Peace
International. Oh, the irony.
And if there are such disputes in the Brotherhood of "Special
Knowledge", is there any hope that we normal people can live in peace?
