Greetings radio heads!

About a year ago I bought a highly modified Radio Shack DX-394 from a
guy who goes by Lowbander on Ebay -- he sells a ton of these things.
Here are the mods he did:

AGC mod
Chuffing mod
Beep Mod
Audio Quality mod
Audio Hiss reduction mod
Noise blanker mod
Cross talk mod
RF Gain Mod
Freq adjustment mod
Weighted tuning knob mod
Ceramic filter mod ("poor-man's" Kiwa)


The radio works great -- I just don't listen to it anymore. The radio
comes with the original box, a copy of the manual, some details of the
mods, plus the following accessories:

A Radio Shack External Speaker
A 40' long-wire antenna
20' of RG58a cable for an external antenna connection
2003 Passport if you want it

** Plus a padded carrying case from Universal Radio! (the radio fits
nicely in here when you unscrew the telescoping antenna)


All this for $225 plus shipping!


This is a good deal. I really don't want to hassle with Ebay.
