Hi Folks ,

I am planning to buy a portable/desktop shortwave radio. From your
experience i would be glad to know if u can tell me which are the
best shortwave radios available . I read that some of the names are
mentioned in the Passprt to World Band radio book , but i do not have
it now.

Well, for portables, it's hard to beat the classics:
The Grundig YB400, or the Sangean ATS 909.
