It is 'claimed' that the Grundig Yacht Boy 400 PE is the most often
sold Shortwave / World Band Radio in the North American Retail Market
(NARM). Mainly due to the fact that it is available at RadioShack
and most other retail outlets in the NARM.

IMHO: I think that for many reasons the Grundig S350 Super Radio
will be the "Leading BCL Radio" 'sold' in the NARM in 2004.

IMHO: The Grundig Yacht Boy 400 PE (YB-400) is a great 'portable'
AM/FM/SW Radio and can 'handle' an external Random Wire Antenna in
the range of 35 Feet to 100 Feet long. The secret is Coupling the
Random Wire Antenna to the Grundig Yacht Boy 400 PE Radio. And IMHO
the "Portable Wire Antenna" (PWA) is that "SECRET".

Hi,

Just got a YB 400 PE and so far it is working pretty good
with the 23 ft. wire as an antenna. Basically would like
to know what the best antenna for the YB 400 PE is.
