According to that page, the E1 XM is XM Satellite Radio or Digital
Audio Broadcasting (DAB) Ready. Whether this means they will have two
models, one for each, or whether it really means it is ready for both,
I don't know.


If it were only a DAB/XM model, there would be no reason to include the OTHER
features that same page mentions, like PBT, synch. detection, three BW filters,
BFO, etc. Maybe someone can help me with this, but I don't know how ANY of
those features would be needed in a DAB-only radio.
But yes, before having a full-scale, REAL press release of specs and features,
it's hard to say for sure what the radio will be able to do.
Regardless, I think's it's pretty safe to assume it's a general coverage HF
rig that is READY to do digital, provided the user subscribes to a service.
