The 2010 is a good set. The value would not be much more, if even anything
with the changed filters. Infact the diehard collectors may prefer a set
with all original parts, rather than modified. As for performance, the Kiwa
filters made a slight improvement if the tech was equipped with the right
type of set-up, had the knowledge, and re-touched up the IF alignment
properly.

I have a 2010 myself. It is a very good set, and performs very well for a
portable short-wave radio. I used to work for some service contractors, and
was doing warranty service on these. This goes far back for me. If you have
any technical questions about this set, I would have to go by memory. As for
my personal set, I never had any faults with it, therefore, I never had to
service it.

How much is a Sony 2010 with wide and narrow Kiwa filters worth these
days? This one is serial number 319640, I think around early 90s
production. Some wear on cabinet near the volume slider. Otherwise fine
condition.

Thanks,
