I use David Clark H100DC listen only aviation headphones, both for my

private listening, and in field production work. With excellent results.

Peter, Don't think the term "excellent" does the Clarks justice. How about
"awesome"? You can ware them for hours with little discomfort. RM~

No kidding. When I was producing the St Judes Radiothon at
Randhurst, the Board of Trade, and Northbrook, I was under my Clarks
with the exception of bathroom breaks, for three days at a time. My
biggest problem wasn't the headphones, but the grungy processing at
the transmitter. When the station switched out the DP 100 to the
Omnia FM, it was like night and day, and I hardly noticed the
headphones until the end of the broadcast.

Now, I still spend hours at a time under Clarks, but not exactly
listening to Broadcast.

In the studio, I still prefer Sennheisers, although at most of
the studios in the city, they prefer something closed.

Clark makes a listen-only communication headset, too. Also on
the website.

Not exactly cheap. Worth twice the price.
