I compared the Grundig YB400PE to the new Kaito KA1102. The KA1102 keys
seemed miniature for my fingers, though I liked the idea of a complete
package of SSB, AM & FM, rechargable batteries, and good receiption for
under $100. Doing only casual SSB, I settled on the YB400PE especially
since I want a "family radio" that receives a good FM signal. The YB400PE
is available at 6AVE Electronics in NJ for $109, plus 6 cents for shipping.
