national guard was such an elite organization, only for the rich and famous.
What's the membership fee? Maybe you mean that anyone who joins the military
when there is a draft is a draft dodger. How about all those guys that
joined the military during the civil war, WW1, WW2, and Korea. They were all
draft dodgers, right?

No that is not my point. It is that Bush did not do his duty back
then. He drew on family connections to help him out, like many people
likely did. It's just that most of them don't go about in a bellicose
