M2,
Of the Three Mentioned 'my personal ranking'
on Military Service to one's Country would be:
1. Al Gore = Regular Army + Vietnam

2. GW Bush = Texas ANG + Fighter Pilot
4. WJ Clinton = NO SHOW + Tour in England as an Anti-War Protestor
On "BALLS" then 'my personal ranking would be:
1. BIG BALLS = GW Bush for being a Fighter Pilot.
2. Balls = Al Gore a Army Reporter in Vietnam.
4. NO balls = WJ Clinton an Anti-War Protestor in England.
FWIW: Concerning all three of the above men and their
Public Service in Elected Office.
When WJ Clinton was President - He was MY President [.]
When Al Gore was Vice-President - He was MY Vice-President [.]
Now that GW Bush is President - He is MY President [.]
TBL: Respect the Office and the Men Who Serve in It.

AJG,
So Using Your Logic.
AJG - Should WJ Clinton have been excluded from becoming President of
the USofA for Not going to Vietnam or Serving in the US Military ?
AJG - Should WJ Clinton as President of the USofA, have "Recused"
himself from All Military Decisions ?
+ And 'had' Vice-President Al Gore Make All Military Decisions - Because:
* Al Gore DID Serve in the US Military. [ FACT ]
* Al Gore DID Go To Vietnam. [ FACT ]
* Al Gore DID Serve His Country With Honor. [ FACT ]
I disagree with this last bullet. Gore served a very short
stay as a *reporter*. Didn't like being a reporter in Viet
Nam and so he used his father's influence to get him the
hell out of there. And Bush is no better.
Rich dudes dodging war is nothing new. But when a poor boy,
like Clinton, pulls it off, you kinda got to cheer him on.
Having read that, I think I've got balls! That's a good feeling!
