broadcast of news read by a man, but the signal was not as strong or
readable.
This may be of interest from the latest DXLD 4-020:
** ISRAEL. The 1800 broadcast is monitored on 9435 11585. They are
sometimes on 11605 instead of 11585. I have heard them on 11605 for a
full fifteen minutes, once they were on 11605 at 1800 but made a rapid
switch to 11585 a few minutes later. The 2000-2025 broadcast is only
monitored on 6280 here, at times the news content lasts for 15 minutes
and they fill with music until 2025 sign off in English (Edwin

The 2000 broadcast is supposed to be a news broadcast separate from the
other 15 minute English news relays from domestic Israel Radio-look in
Passport. Could they be using a domestic relay for the 2000 bcst as well
instead of "Israel Magazine"?
I think I've figured out what you're asking! Generally the English broadcasts other
than the 2000 one are relays of Reshet Alef (First Network). The 2000 broadcast is
Reshet Hei, which used to be known as the third network and is known today at least
in Kol Israel terms as the fifth network. Reshet Hei is the overseas channel.
Hopefully that's what you were looking for.
Yeah, that's what I wanted. I thought that there was another "network"
besides those two that broadcast on SW.
I heard a broadcast from India in english as well, but as they got to the
point of a voice clip discussing an "islamic bomb" the broadcast was cut off
abruptly. Unfortunately I did not write down the frequency, but it seems
ominous to me that it got cut off at just that point , givne the state of
affairs between Pakistan and India at this moment.
