IBS has recently added a review of the DE105 to their web page updating
the receiver section of the printed Passport book:

There is a hint of a new high-performance pocket radio on the horizon: could
it be the resurrected Sangean ATS-636?

( from http://www.passband.com/pages/receivernews.htm )

Degen’s new DE105,

a decent little radio, is sold in North America as the Kaito KA105 with a
robust front panel. Yet, its limited frequency coverage and other shortcomings
make it a dubious choice when another $20 can buy the vastly superior, if
slightly beefier, Degen DE1101/Kaito KA1101.

If you simply must go with a pocket-sized model, be patient.

Rumor has it that there is a serious model in the works to fill the current
price chasm between the $55 for a ‘105 and the $360 for a Sony ICF-SW100S.

- Probably ( one would hope The Sangean ATS-636 ..)
