For the SWL, SSB is still very handy for tuning stations that are
getting a lot of interference from an adjacent signal on just one side.
If you're trying to listen to 10330 and there's a strong signal on 10325
that's interfering with your reception, you can switch to USB on 10330
and this will often eliminate the interference. You'll have to decide
for yourself if such a capability is worth $20 to you.
