I was trying to make (putting it simply) was as follows: I was
*deliberately* using inappropriate taxonomy. I understand that
England, Wales, Scotland are constituents of *the United Kingdom
of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.*
Or, in perhaps simpler terms, "I was trying to be funny."
