I have just opened the 7600GR and removed the antenna to apply a drop
of oil (intended for a sewing machine). Now the antenna turns a little
more easy, but (holding the bushning with a vice) turning the antenna
makes the bottom part quite hot. This indicates a lot of friction...

But, I won;t have any problem with the antenna turning by itself...
