He's told me several times he was gonna sue me, get his lawyer relatives after me,
etc. etc. etc. The list goes on and on.

It's all part of his 'debate' background. The 'truth' doesn't matter in 'debate'.
It comes down to who was more 'persuasive' in their argument.
