My condolences, I can't imagine trying to DX with a portable.
Gee, I think you know I have other radios. I like portables. Some of them
are
excellent radios. I bet the vast majority of this NG uses portables.
Perhaps they do. Not the point Fat Boy!
Maybe you could be more specific in detailing what you are saying about
portables and the people that use them.
