For some reason, Louisville has always been a good radio town. Back in the
60s and 70s, no medium market town in the US had better radio stations than
Louisville. WAKY (790) and WKLO (1080) were two of the best anywhere.
Thanks for that memory, Ray. I grew up tuned to those very stations. Their
absence is sorely missed!
