The Radio Shack 20-006 center-loaded telescopic whip is good for general
coverage (as long as you're not doing any serious HF work). Put an
alligator clip on the end of a piece of wire and clip it to the end of the
whip for HF (you may need to experiment with the length...too long will
overload the receiver, resulting in nothing but noise). The Diamond RH-77CA
is a nice rubber ducky (longer than the stock ducky) for good VHF/UHF
coverage.
