OK Where are you at, please don't say Dallas area! I am thinking that I just
south enough to be missing the signal. I sat on that frequency for over 1.5
hours with nothing but static, I did hear static get louder and softter but
basically nothing.

I didn't either, immediately upon tuning that freq. You have to sit on it
for
a bit. What I heard was (presumably) air-traffic control every now and
then -
not constant broadcasting.
