I am. Used to be a Liberal. Then, I grew up, got a pair,
put on a helmet, and lived life. I stopped hoping the gubmint
would solve the world's problems. It was surely a case
of arrested development. But, life's about learning, and
when you do it with eyes open, you learn a couple of things:

1. The world is ruled by force and by money.

2. The world does not owe you a friggin' thing.

3. There are people who'd kill you for the twenty you
have in your wallet. Don't believe that? Then you
are naive.

4. Life's hard, and the government doesn't give a ****.
Neither do I.

5. If you didn't work for it, and you didn't pay for it,
keep your damned hands off of it. It isn't yours.

6. You cannot negotiate with a rabid dog, and it doesn't
matter whether you are compassionate or not - you'll
still get bitten. Then, you will be compassionate AND
stupid. Or, to put it more succinctly, you'll be a Democrat.
