I've heard some DJ's ( Imus, Howard Stern) have security with them;
Others ( Nameless) have Pseuodonyms so they don't get harassed;
I worked in a Bank once; Had One guy I canned Threaten my life ( A Bully & A
drunk , Scarey guy who never did ****; ( I thought I could take him 1 - 1 ; Not
too bright of me..) )
& I never wanted to supervise any one since..
IN ANY Case, Don't tempt fate, Notify The Cops, Document stuff, watch yer
back...
- Get to know the local cops / Security in your building/ Exits like the
Loading Dock; Vary your travel times..
Watch yer back..

Here's a link to an article about murdered DJs and radio hosts.

I don't know about anyone else, but I was assaulted at gunpoint one day at
our local radio station by a crazy ex-employee. Plus, I've been stalked
several different times. All of those events happened back in the late 70s
and early 80s. To me, it was a shock when it first happened to me, but now I
have come to recognize this phenomenon as a typical job hazard of the radio
industry. Radio draws nutcakes. That's what drew me to the industry to start
with!
Has anyone here had any such experience in their background?
