If your correct, yje Sangean ATS-803A was also sold as a RS DX-440
which is
probably one of the better old digital portables. LW/MWFM/ SW 1.7 thru
30 mhz.
annd a bfo for SSB/CW. I still have mine and iits pretty decent pn MW.
I use it with a Select A Tenna and cann listen to a few stations all
the time that are 200+ mile from me in mid Maryland. I use it as my
nightstand radio with an AC adapter.
Theyre avaiilable at a reasonable price on EBay, pick it up if the
price is right and it's working. You can d/l an oowners manual from
RadioShacks' website.
