Default Dan Ingram to star on this year's WABC rewound

The ghost of the greatest top 40 station in the land (OK, ba.broadcast
says Drake's KFRC was better or perhaps the border blasters from Baja)
walks the land again Memorial Day from 6 A.M. to 6 P.M. EDT. (It's
unfortunate that they're not on when medium wave skip is common.)

Dan Ingram stars Monday when WABC (770 AM) presents its annual
Memorial Day "Rewound" special reliving the years when "77" was the
country's defining top-40 radio station.
Johnny Donovan, a WABC jock who stayed after the switch to talk in
1982, has assembled 12 hour-long segments of the old WABC, running 6
a.m.-6 p.m.

Then Ingram will join current WABC program director Phil Boyce for two
more hours, 6-8 p.m., to talk about the station's heritage and take
phone calls.
