If anything left of center can't make it in NYC, then it's time to rethink
things. However, it's been my observation that it takes some fairly
appalling stuff to fail in NYC. I would guess that one of the main reasons
they established a presence in NYC was also the same reason they did _not_
try to crank up a station in the south. Although, I think they would find
a receptive audience (perhaps of justifiable size) in Atlanta...

They say they're on in Chapel Hill, SC and Key West, FL, but I don't know
how much of their programming is carried on these stations.
It seems Tampa Bay is a hotbed of talk radio, and they might have some
success there, if they can break in. Many of the bigger names in Liberal
talk radio have been through the South, such as Tom Leykis, Bob Lassiter and
Mike Malloy, although that's mostly Tampa Bay and Maimi for those guys.
