I thought I would check to see if the rec.amateur groups have all the
trash that this group has. to my surprise what I saw was:

But what if you're NOT a radio 'amateur'?
There's nothing I could post in there that I know of, they'd tell me to post
shortwave in RRS, as I should.

I KNOW enough 'amateurs' that it has literally made me NOT want to get
involved. I know that may sound childish of me, but that is 'really' how I
feel.

I have been pressured and ridiculed about not getting my 'ticket' for years
from some guys that I know more about radio and antenna theory than THEY do and
two of them 'cheated' to get their 'ticket.' It was like a scam...lol...sad.
