I have gotten 1000 watt XEPPM Radio Educacion in Mexico City
off the whip of my Tecsun PL-200. Not to mention AFRTS 5000 watts
off the whip of my DE1102. Are you sure you said what you meant
up there? I don't know where you live, but I have to say a good portable
can get lots of stuff besides powerhouses... just off the whip... at least
that is my experience. I live in the southeast U.S., so maybe I have an
advantage?
