Any other people listening in Southeastern Wisconsin? Would appreciate
any tips, or suggestions for a better indoor antenna. We can't put
anything up outside the window.

Thanks,

If stealth is a major issue I suggest getting some #20 hookup wire and
a 1 or 2 ounce fishing sinker. Attach the sinker to one end of the
wire and when listening to shortwave drop this out the window, then
take the free end and either wrap it around the whip antenna about 7 -
10 turns or strip off some insulation and directly connect it to the
whip, when done pull the wire back inside. This works best with the
upper floors of the building. If you're on a lower floor go ahead
with Diverd4777's plan, but I recommend using 'magnet wire' of maybe
#24 or so as it is very difficult to see unless you're up very close.

Good luck,
