I agree. I have a vertical in my attic, and two dipoles setup 90 degrees to
each other. No one antenna is always better that the others but there is
always a case where one will outperform the others under certain conditions,
times, etc. It's very helpful to have a switch box and flip back and forth
for the best signal.
