Default Last Weekend To File FCC Comment

What's all this fuss about BPL? Are the fussers trying to
make out that they're CBers who are unable to sort
out weaker signal reception? Ham Radio isn't about
broadcast-quality signals; it's about the technical
challenge of achieving communication under your
own efforts.

CBers might buy their rigs off-the-shelf and send them
back to the shop to be repaired when faulty but not _REAL_
Radio Hams!

Likewise, when there's a bit of QRN around such as BPL, that's no difficulty
for _REAL_ Radio Hams to sort out!

"The limit for an unintentional emitter on HF is 30 uV/m at 30 meters from
the source," he said. "If you take a dipole cut for 3.5 MHz and put it in
a 30 uV/m field, you'll have a noise reading of S9 plus 16 dB at your
transceiver."
The FCC has extended the comment period for BPL. If you value radio, this
may be the last and only chance to have your voice heard to stop BPL from
destroying your hobby. The FCC has extended the comment period for BPL
