It was so bad at 1400 GMT that I could not detect the carrier of CHU
(7335). About 1415 one could just detect CHU and by 1445 things were a
long ways towards normal. Looking at the moving NOAA picture of D
layer, it looked as if an atomic bomb exploded about 5 minutes to 1400Z.
